History of Flight Display Systems
The Flight Display Team outside our main office.
Flight Display Systems was founded in 1999 by David Gray. David is a pilot and served in the Air Force as a navigator. His love of aviation and the need he saw for a high-quality, low-priced entertainment equipment in business aircraft prompted him to start the business. After two years of research and development the company began shipping its Flight Display Moving Map and soon thereafter added LCD monitors and DVD players. The company now offers more than 40 different products which include 7" to 42" LCD Monitors, DVD players and many other innovative Audio/Video in-flight entertainment products.
Over the last six years the company has grown adding more employees, a larger building and doubling sales every year. Flight Display Systems prides itself on customer service and pioneering new products. Flight Display Systems is at the leading edge of new technology, innovative design, and aircraft retrofit. Research and Development is one of the most important keys to the success of the company. Another unique aspect of the company is the in-stock inventory. Flight Display Systems can ship next day to most of its customers.
